Harry Potter And the Deatly Hallows Part 1

I went to see Harry Potter a week ago and completely forgot to review it!

I found this movie really entertaining but I must warn you that I may be a little bit biased because I do love the books.
There were plenty of action sequences for those of you that need the excitement in a movie. I know that that was some of the complaints of other reviewers, that it was not exciting enough.

There are many parts of the movie where you get an more in depth view of the main characters like you do in books but rarely in movies which I found really wonderful! There's even some really sad moments in the movie that I don't want to rui for those of you who have not seen it yet.
This Harry Potter movie really stresses the importance of Harry's friends and it does the book justice for the amount of material they needed to cover!

Glee Sneak Peek- Special Education The Garblers

I have a feeling that this next episode of Glee is going to be a drama filled one.
If you missed last night's episode of glee, This is what you missed:
Kurt got that football bully expelled for threatening him but then the school board let him back in, now Kurt is going to that private school shown in one of the previous episodes.
Kurt's Dad and Phin's Mom got married. The Glee club performed at their wedding. It was sweet.
Sue Sylvester is marrying herself and her mom is even meaner than Sue herself!
And that's what you missed on Glee!

Walking Dead -- Vatos

Yesterday's episode of the walking dead was probably the most exciting and sad episode of the season so far.
Glenn, Rick, Daryl, and T Dog go back to Atlanta to find Merl, Daryl's Brother, who was left handcuffed to a roof in Atlanta. All they find is his hand.

It is after this that they decide to get the Guns from the street. Glen comes up with a plan. He gets the guns from the street but when he makes it back to the ally he and Daryl are ambushed by a group of men who fail to take the guns from them but kidnap glen instead.

Rick, Daryl and T dog also capture one of their men and use him to find out where they have taken Glen.  They try for a hostage trade but the group want their guns. It looked as if it was going to have to be an all out gun fight with only one group left standing when an elderly lady intervenes and saves the day.

She leads them to Glen. Turns out that the latin group is actually running an old folks home. They are protecting the residents and providing their medical care. Rick gives them some of their guns and they walk out safe and sound only to find their van has been stolen (they suspect Merl) and they have to walk back to camp.

As they near camp they hear screams. The camp is under attack by a horde of zombies. Both Amy and Ed are dead.

Sitting in english right now and I am bored and freezing! What is with schools and not turning the heat up on the first cold days. Come on people! Its - 24 (c) out there!

Ok, so I got a little carried away in the comic book store today and got more comics then I intended to.
Here's What I Got:
1. Angel: Only Human - this comic follows Illyria and Gunn after they leave Hell (Gunn is once again human)

2. Buffy Season 8 V. 7

3. Spike: After the Fall - this comic follows spike after the last season of Angel ends and parrallels the story told in Angel After The Fall

4. Angel After the Fall v. 6

ANGEL ONLY HUMAN
This comic was great. I really enjoyed seeing what happened to Illyria as she was one of my favorite characters in the last season of Angel even if she destroyed Fred who was also one of my favorite characters.  I don't want to spoil the plot in this book but if you like the After The Fall Comics or the Buffy ones you will love this one too!

Going to the Comic Book Store Today!

I'm going to Warp 2 Comics and Games today to look for Buffy or Angel comics  and possibly Christmas presents as well. Can't Wait!

Supernatural -- Clap Your Hands If You Believe

Last Nights Episode of Supernatural was definitely interesting. First born sons were being abducted out of a small town and it is originally speculated that aliens are abducting them.
Dean is abducted and fights his way back. He calls them aliens and says they are too bright to look at. It is not until he is later attacked by a tiny glowing naked woman that he starts to expect it is something else.
Fairies.

Dean is the only one in town who can see them or that is what he thought at first. Soon he and Sam discover the local watch maker has a shop full of elves making his watches for him because he made a deal with a leprechaun.  Needless to say Sam and Dean do send the fairies back to wherever they came from but they never get the sons back.

Now in this episode you really get to see how different Sam is. First when Dean is being abducted instead of rushing off to help him he orders another beer and then when he finds that dean is really missing he picks up a girl and takes her back to his room.  Even if they do get sammy's soul back I am not sure their relationship will ever be the same.

Hellcats -- Pledging My Love

So this weeks episode of Hellcats was awesome!
First of all Alice is humiliated by pictures of her naked circulating around campus but don't worry she gets her revenge! Turns out the football player who sent them around is gay (not a big shocker that's been a stereotype that's been around forever) and she is able to blackmail him into a suitable punishment.

 

Next the head coach, Vanessa, is proposed to by her long term boyfriend, Derrick, with a quirky and cute dance number choreagraphed by Savannah, the cheerleading captain. Vanessa says yes but does she really mean it? Her dream that night seems to say she has another lover in mind. Red Raymond perhaps?

 

And lastly Dan asks Savannah for a break but I think he really means a break up. He seems to be still hung up on Marti his first love who also seems to be still in love with him even if she is trying to deny it. 

The next episode should be a good one as their were many loose ends today.
