Gym Day # 4

Went to Zumba again yesterday night at Spa Lady.
It was a different instructor this time, a woman. She was amazing too!
I found that I do have some coordination issues though. I can't do something with my feet and my hands at the same time. If I start doing one the other stops. Maybe this class will help me with that. haha.

Anyway, it is a really fun class and it makes me feel a little bit less stressed and more relaxed.
Can't wait to go again on Saturday with Megan and Mom!

Gym Day 3 Zumba!

Today I went to the Zumba class at Spa Lady. It was wonderful. I don't think I have ever perspired so much in my life while having fun.   The instructors were really energetic and interactive. I will definitely be going again!

Gym Day # 2

Today was also a great day at the gym, so far I am not getting bored being there. Tomorrow I am going to a Zumba class at 12:00 It should be fun!
So here is what I did today at the gym:
1. Elliptical 15 minutes
















2. Stationary Bike 15 minutes
















3. Stationary Row Machine 10 minutes












4. Lunges 2 sets of 10

















5. Bicep curls 1 set of ten with 10 lb weights


















6. 5 sets of 5 lateral sit ups on the machine who's name I can't remember from yesterday

Because I did a little less cardio excercises today I didn't burn quite as many calories but my arms and legs are feeling a little bit sore compared to after my work out yesterday.
I also signed up for my fitness pal today and started inputting all of the food I have eaten and exercises I have done each day. Hopefully to help me get a little bit better with my eating habits and help me lose my weight faster!

First Day of The Gym!

So today was my first day at the gym and surprisingly I had fun!
I got the full tour and the facility was really nice.
I did mostly only Cardio today. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 35 on the bike, and 10 on the stairs (those are freakin hard!). I have a feeling my legs might be sore tomorrow...
And to finish my workout off I used the machine, who's name escapes me, to work my abs. It's the machine that you stand on and lift your legs upward while supporting yourself with your arms. If anyone knows what that's called leave it in the comments!
I am hoping to be able to go tomorrow as well!

Gym Membership

On Tuesday I signed up for a gym membership at Spa Lady. I did feel a little like I was signing my whole life away for two years. They needed my drivers license and my health card and a void cheque and on and on. It was like I was signing over my soul.  But maybe my soul is worth being in better shape.
I chose spa lady because it is an all girls gym so it did feel a little bit more comfortable and they also have yoga and zumba classes that I can attend. I really hope that I enjoy it and lose this ten pounds so I can fit back into my jeans!
