The Royal Wedding -- Kate's Dress
Kate's Dress was beautiful at the Royal Wedding today!
It was classy, elegant, but still modern.
It was designed by Alexander McQueen's protege Sarah Burton who now runs McQueen's busniness after his passing.
I don't know about you girls but I would wear this dress!
I think Bridal shops are going to have their hands ful trying to find dresses that look like this one for all the Royal Wedding Brides!!

Your looking at a New CIBC Employee!
After two interviews and a lot of hoops I am now a CIBC customer service representative!
I start my job training on May 16 at the main branch downtown. After four weeks of training I will be assigned to a branch hopefully here on the north end!
The pay is good for a starting position. I get 14.00/hr and I do get some benefits as well.
I am a probationary hire until all of my criminal checks pass! Which they should because to the best of my knowledge I have ever done anything more illegal than speeding!
I am very excited to start somewhere new and make a little bit more money!!

New Interview On Monday..
So I have a new interview monday night after work at crystal's. I am meeting the woman at Timmy's. Yum!
So this new opportunity is as a cleaner. So not the bestest ever but it pays 14/hr. Pretty good.
I just have a couple of questions and she really needs someone to help out in the next couple of weeks but with already working the shifts I have at Crystal's and finals I don't think I can take on anymore work.
Not until May 1st...
I hope this doesn't ruin my chances but I'll just be honest and open and friendly and hopefully it all works out!
My mom laughed out loud when i told her what the job was.
She said, "You've had two interviews; one was for picking up poop and the other is for cleaning, neither of which you do at home!"
Well whatever mom if I got payed 14/hr maybe I would clean at home!

So Tailz...
I went for my interview yesterday at Tailz and I'm thinking that maybe that job isn't really for me.
1) No heels allowed ever! What kind of hell do these people live in!
2) Jeans only. No Dresses or shorts or slacks
3) Have to pick up dog poop all day. Which I can do. I did grow up on a farm but that still sounds very undesirable.
4) The whole place smells and it was very loud
5) Work starts at 7:00 AM, 7 AM!!!
6)The people who work there seem very nice but I don't think we would have too much in common.
7) It's a 30 minute drive.
I think maybe I'll keep this one as a back up only job...
I did apply for a cool receptionist job at a fingerprinting place today that sounded promising starts at $12.00 at hour and goes up 50 cents every three months and I would have to work 10-4 on Monday to Friday which means I could work Saturdays and Thursday nights at Crystal's still.
I really hope I find something soon because I am getting sick of writing cover letters...

AHH! So Stressed Out!
So all of you know that I have been working at Crystal's Bridal lately. Well I thought they would be able to give me enough hours to get by this summer and I was dead WRONG!
Next month they are only giving me 8 shifts which works out to be roughly $440 for the whole month! My rent is $400!! So now I am scurrying trying to find another job! I want to keep working at Crystal's because I love it there but it's definitely going to be hard to schedule two jobs this summer. I have an interview this Tuesday at 12:30 at Tailz. The place is a dog daycare and pet store. It should be fun and they offer 25 to 30 hours a week which I really badly need!
I never realized how much money I require to live! I really need to start extreme couponing or get better at budgeting myself!
I just like things that are too expensive, like this new perfume I want!
Ahh.... the thrills of being broke. At least I am not a Hobo yet!

My Birthday Weekend Catch up!
Sorry I've been rather absentee lately.
School, Work, and Fun have been taking up a rather large chunk of my time lately.
So as a short before school catch up:
Last Last Weekend (March 25-28) I was thrown a not so surprise surprise birthday by my two besties, Phillip and Shonna, and My sister, Megs. I ruined their surprise by planning my own party in which they then had to inform me that I already had a party! Aren't they awesome! My Sister is only 17 and so not allowed to go to the bar. Shonna had a brilliant idea to try and sneak her into our favorite bar, The Oilcity Roadhouse. Phil and I figured what the hell, the worst that could happen is we don't get in. Well it actually worked! We fake stamped meg and somehow we actually got her in. The rest of the night was spent dancing and getting shots from the cute bartender that Phil has a thing for.
So that was on Saturday.
The day before Shonna, Carrissa, and I went to the Male Strippers at Union.
We weren't there very long, but I apparently didn't need long when the bartenders upon seeing my birthday babe sash decided to double all of my drinks for free!
We were only there for two hours and I ended up just a little more than tipsy!
So because of Friday there was no drinking for me on Saturday. I couldn't even stomach the smell!
Sunday Megs and I went for facials, as in the ones you get at the spa not the one's your thinking of Shonna!
